Some very interesting numbers from Ipsos-MORI today. They are now including Nigel Farage in their polling of British political leaders and amongst the public as a whole he comes out as having the highest satisfaction rating of any party leader on 38%.
He is also the only party leader with a positive net rating of +9, which is an amazing figure when you consider that David Cameron is stuck on -30 and Nick Clegg is on a very poor -43.
The poll also shows that UKIP supporters are strongly behind Farage, with 90% of those supporting the party backing Farage’s tenure.
It is clear that not only is the awareness of UKIP and Nigel Farage clearly breaking through, but that the perception of the party is overwhelmingly positive amongst those who are aware of the party.
